A Prayer for our World

Lord, right now is a scary time. A lot of us are out of work, at home, contemplating what to do with our lives and feeling a little bit useless. Others are on the front lines, fighting for the lives of people all over the world. At times, it feels like living in a post apocalyptic universe from a YA novel, but this is where we are right now. And in all of the craziness, I realize even more than normal how much I need you. We need you. Lord, meet us where we are. Be with us here. Help us to realize that this more than ever is a time to be intentional in our faith. Point out ways that we can help an make a difference. Let us use this time to rest in you, and reset our lives so we are ready to serve to better serve you on the other side of this. Help us to emerge stronger than we were when this crisis started. We love you and we continue to praise you through the storm.
